The illusionists/magicians make illusions/magic tricks which fool you (most of the time visually) that they do something unnatural or unrealistic which doesn't mean they alter reality so that to perform the illusion

Magicians or illusionists create tricks and illusions, often visual, that deceive you into thinking something unnatural or impossible is happening. However, this doesn’t mean they are actually altering reality to perform the illusion.
