It always shocks me given the sheer impact and importance of it that the Gettysburg Address by President Lincoln was only 272 words arranged into ten sentences. Those 272 words are cemented into US history and mark a turning point in the eyes of many of the Civil War. One of the most if not the most important things he spoke about still rings true today.
