8-Bit Christmas is my absolute favorite. I just found it only a few years ago and watch it at least once every Christmas now. I completely relate to the whole Nintendo hype in the early 90s.
Home Alone - A timeless Christmas classic.
Elf - Will Farrell is overrated but I like him in this one. I can enjoy this one with my parents as well as kids.
Christmas Story - I have seen this movie like 20+ times and I still don't know what it's about. It just seems like a series of short anecdotes. No matter, it's still one of the absolute best Christmas movies.
Klaus - An animated movie from only a few years back, it tells a unique story about Santa Claus with some loose ties to the real folklore in Scandinavia or Germany (I think). Kind of dark but it has a good overall message and delivery.
Why Him? - Very crass but funny Christmas movie.
Love Actually - I have seen this a number of times but I don't really remember any of it. My wife likes this one so I enjoy just relaxing on the couch with her while I am on my phone
Muppet Christmas Carol is a timeless classic for me. I enjoyed watching this every year as a kid and still as an adult.
Spirited - This is a newer film that I always fall asleep while watching it but the wife likes the comical musical nature of it so we both get what we want.
Christmas Chronicles - I like that in the first one, there isn't really a bad guy. It's just an unfortunate event that threatens Christmas. I also like Kurt Russell as Santa.
The Grinch - This is the CGI animated Grinch and the only version I can stand because the townspeople look too much like rodents in that real-life Grinch with Jim Carey. Super weird vibes from that movie.
Just Friends - Funny and relatable movie with Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart.
There are probably some others like Die Hard just for fun but I think I will end up watching every movie on this this list in the next 40 days.
