They were trying to lateral that to CMC but Deebo got hit. Just another mess of a game. Every facet. They let Geno run for 30 yards on the last drive. Insane. Boss was out but someone step up.
I think this season is about done. They aren’t playing well enough to compete with Packers, Bills and Lions and they can probably only lose one more to be a lock for playoffs.
Bowers is a real bright spark on the team. I hope you guys get something going next season. Players like Maxx Crosby and bowers deserve a little something something.
I remember talking with some friends about it at the time and all of us thought it was just what Cleveland needed. They now had a (at least he was once) good QB. A brilliant coach in stefanski. And I think they still had some top end WRs at the time. But this is now turning out to be the absolute worst deal in NFL history. I'm very surprised people haven't been fired over it.
Oh yeah no I thought he would be rusty and with the suspension the first season might be a wash but now he’s just an idiot out there… I watched some of his passes and how he literally would bail out of a clean pocket and then get sacked and went wtf you were not under any pressure you idiot!
He went from top 3-5 in the league to no better than Josh Rosen, in one swift move. Good job Texans for moving on rapidly. (I mean Watson would be out of the league if it wasn't for that contract)
Yeah I was a little surprised that with the new lawsuits that had be filed and then settled that there would be an our for the team cause they honestly need it
I could really do with Matty snapback going bonkers. I need for two leagues him or Wilson to go nuts. Ideally both. So I'm in on the rams this week and the Steelers... This is gunna be a long week
Jets are dead, this is another 4-13 season, even with those big names... Clean the house and start over, I have no words.
We had good QBs and we let them go... (Geno, Darnold... etc. ) I have a feeling we will have worse record that with Zach at the helm (which pains me to say it, I didn't like the kid, but he is not a bad QB)
It's not the players I'm starting to think , although they need to perform on Sundays.. it's the org. Parcells left without finishing the job, Belichit didnit even want it.... Maybe there is something about this org/ownership that is toxic. Owner should stay out of football (do opposite what Jerry in Texas is doing) or go GreenBay way and sell the shares and the fans "own" the team...
I will enjoy the rest of the football season without the emotional attachment now, I think that's healthier :-)
You are right, but Ravens won the superbowl with Trent friggin Dilfert, we have (or had) a decent D and that ought to be enough, yet could not glue all this together.... very sad
At least someone got something outta that game. 🤣🤣 Because the bears got an L and the Packers got embarrassed by having that game almost be an L to the bears.
You had to expect they would come back down to earth a bit. I mean Sam Darnold is your starting QB. Sam is serviceable and a decent placeholder but I would not rely on him to win you any big games.
Ofcourse a rational mind knew it was only a matter of time... But just like the passtronaught mania last year. I bought into the hype and now I'm just nervous every week 🤣
Gotta say thought, whatever the outcome this season the last few seasons have been some of the most fun football to watch with Sam and the passtronaught before him.
Too much sloppy play. Missed tackles, penalties, almost fumbling the punt, Purdy throwing into tight coverage for INT. They should win this game but still don’t look right
I think certain schemes can match up well against the Lions. You won't shut them down but you can control them enough to win on offense. A couple mistakes and a terrible missed call by the refs late cost you guys the game. You should have won.
You have to pressure Goff. Look what happened last week when he was pressured. The problem is their OLine is awesome so easier said than done. Best way to beat them is to control the clock, keep their D on the field and not let their offense get in rhythm. They are really good but they have also been ridiculously healthy this year other than Hutchinson going down. I expect that won't be the case late in the season and maybe into the playoffs.
Exactly. The one benefit for them is in games like today they can probably rest guys for the entire 4th quarter and they have given themselves a lot of cushion where if guys are banged up late in the year they don't have to push them to play.
49ers shot themselves in the foot every possible way in the first half but still have the lead for now. Seattle gets the ball in 2nd half. Hopefully they clean it up and can get this W.
