I've recently migrated from Cable TV to Wifi with OTT Pay to go subscription. This is my first time to be watching from the OTTs.

We have some India specific OTT platforms which are free with the pack but Netflix, Amazon Prime and other Internationals have to be bought as addon. So, please suggest me what's your favourite OTT platform.

None, actually. With so many paid subscription services trying to host movies and shows exclusively on their platform, I miss the good old days when pirates roamed the Internet.

Netflix is good but it's the most expensive here. I've a plan with Jio that costs me 1299/month + GST which has 50 mbps unlimited speed + all Indian and international OTTs including Amazon prime and Netflix.

Which one did you buy?

I've bought a 398 + GST plan for I'd only be watching occassionally. That's 10 Mbps.

Amazon Prime and HBO Max are good options. Until recently I paid for these types of services. But I decided that if others maintain the model, I won't give them another cent. Now I use MAGICTV FREE OF CHARGE AND THERE IS A GREAT VARIETY OF THINGS TO WATCH

A home media server in a raspberry pi. Super easy to set up. It works great. I have over 1000 movies and tons of shows, and music. I just download them from torrent. Having my own curated collection is way better to me than browsing any of those platforms. I prefer getting exposed to new media other ways. I don't use Spotify or anything like that either. I also keep a Collection on my phone on a 512 gb micro SD. So I have my favorites everywhere I go, even with out internet. Who's making the decentralized media streaming library?

Interesting. I'm marking this as a great recommendation and will be my objective in future. I'm also not fan of browsing. The TV and OTTs are for everyone. We live in a joint family and evryone can watch. That's very much for my mother who like to watch a lot of religious content.
