The United States is a Broken Nation. Once the envy of the world, her institutions are broken. Her finances are broken. Her politicians are broken (and they weren't always). "Adult conversation" with any political party is nearly impossible... and many of the nation's citizens act like children. Left, right, red, blue it makes no difference.

Children cannot wait. They cannot compromise. They cannot reconcile that yes multiple things can be true simultaneously... and in fact the other cannot possibly be right. It's a failure of imagination, a failure of patience, a failure of discipline...

and an opening for many of Mankind's worst impulses.

I guess we should have seen it coming. But if it's any comfort... sometimes seminal events, in the present, happen so slowly and move in such slow-motion... that they are hard to recognize until being right-up-close.

Make no mistake about it: The United States is an Empire in Decline. And in my opinion, regardless of politics, this is unlikely to change and it's sad. The politics of Rome, Persia, and Ancient Greece are long forgotten... but the oh shit "what have we become" isn't anything new and it's got-to-be a historically-universal feeling.

And you don't need to read the ancient Greek or Latin, in my judgement, to feel what the last Romans felt... a sense of hopelessness, and of a grand, grand arc of history over which they had absolutely no control. The lights fading away at the coliseum... a new era beginning. A Sun is born.

And it Shines Bright. Fucking. Orange.

When the world's institutions are broken, when 'trust' doesn't mean what it's supposed to... When the United States is a liability... and friends become enemies in an unpredictable fashion...

What do you trust? American bonds? The US Congress? The White House run by fools (of either party)? Journalistic outlets (newspapers for example) or Big Companies?

What do these entities 'tell you', what do they 'promise you' - a product, a handout, a bribe, a yield? And how can you trust any of them...

In prior years American institutions, for all their faults, were trusted to act in their own interests while also serving the interests of We The People but that's a laughable idea now. It's truly sad just how broken American Institutions have become; the "fake news" is everywhere and the internet, social media in particular, is filled with complete and utter bullshit.

How can you trust what you see? Trust what you read... Trust what you Hear? How can you Trust that value isn't "double-spent" or confiscated, or stolen, or inflated beyond the terms of the deal... How can you protect your time in ways that cannot be broken at least by Any. Other. Mortal...

In should be no surprise, in my opinion, that in such a world Bitcoin would dominate, eviscerate, and out-perform any and all competitors to be used by anyone and everyone...

It is the ultimate economic signal. The 'apex predator' in its war on bullshit, and the standard to which all contracts ascribe to. The great equalizer when paired with a Coldcard and Sparrow... and everyone who understands self-custody knows it.

No government can guess keys... and anyone can mine, provided enough energy is available from an oil field, refinery, power plant, or source of "green energy". All the world's computers cannot guess keys in many lifetimes, and it is only a matter of time before Nation States:

And that Block Space will sell and in my opinion sell well, because Bitcoin has no competition. And the 'Feds' or 'Authorities' can sit and watch, but they cannot censor a transaction to sell Bitcoin for Oil or valuable commodities between China and Russia.

Or between India and Russia. Or Russia and Brazil. BRICS... Yes that's right: final settlement through a neutral, trust-less protocol, facilitating global commodities trading, savings, and Risk-Off positioning is the Future of Bitcoin and it will fill any vacuum of power created by the decline and Self-Immolation of the United States.

In their quest for a trust-less, neutral medium of exchange and hard money why wouldn't they use Bitcoin? And in the psychosis of the American Psyche, the sickness that has infected a Declining Empire...

A Speculative Attack is Born: American Investors will want NgU of their ETF shares (and let's be honest Plebs like NgU too but the real thing) and the geopolitical adversaries of the United States will grant that to them when they Adopt Bitcoin.
