Yikes.
I remember many years ago I fat shamed my ex wife’s cousin while at a bbq/pool party. Her cousin was a jokester and we were friendly and always joking with each other so I didn’t think much of it as I did it in a joking manner. But he seemed hurt by it and I felt bad about it after. Plus my ex got super pissed at me.
I saw him a year later at a UFC event and he looked jacked.
Sometimes the truth hurts but is the best medicine to get people to make improvements in their lives. Not saying kids should be fat shamed but pretending there isn’t a problem isn’t a good solution either.
I do not shame my children. I just tell them the truth right to their face. The truth hurts, but it is their responsibility to change things. I am willing to help and provide knowledge on how to change. But the work is on them. That's why it's called proof of work.

Someone fat shamed you or you fat shamed someone else

Some people need to be told they can, some people need to be told they can't. (sound warning)
