while i know there are many answers as to WHY there is a corporate tax in the US, im wondering from any logical standpoint why there is a corporate tax? If corporations are compiled of people that own the company, doesnt all taxation flow through to the owners? if the corporation employs owners ( such as an S corp tax classification), then taxation flows to both their wage earnings and their ownership profits. So, what reason is there for any additional taxation outside of this structure? i dont see what holes it fills, and it all seems so misleading to me when i read 'Amazon paid $0 in taxes.' well, so what the employees and shareholders paid a fuck ton in taxes...so why does it matter if the corporation itself pays any taxes? 😮💨

It does t, it's all a sham.
Tax incidence of corporate taxes is something like two-thirds borne by workers, one-third by capital owners
