I always wonder how much the folks have swindled away in private wallets waiting for the day when they get out of prison.

I remember one of those social engineering scammers saying that. If they get caught and sentenced, they get out of prison in a few years with a private stash that they didn't reveal.
Still, prison is not something anyone would really want to do.
