An acrylic painting from a while back. There is no continuity to actual geography. I started it to just practice clouds after struggling with oil paints. It sat for a year. Then I finally decided to do something with it. So slapped pyramids and the sphinx on it.

My mind cannot understand how to achieve this beautiful result by mixing the colors. What caught my attention the most was the base of the sphinx and the brightness of the sun hidden by the clouds. Congratulations on the painting!

The funny part is, I'm "colorblind", probably why I stuck to mostly browns 😅
Your words are much appreciated 🙏

I know what the colors are supposed to be, and can see most of it (I think) but man if autumn and winter aren't dull.
It's more the red/green mixes. I can see primary colors, but once they get mixed it's a guess. A lot becomes brown or gray to me.
I can bullshit my way through color theory though 😂

It's still unbelievable... so when you mix the colors it's up to your sensitivity 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
