feelings in response to the message are ephemeral, they do not last. i am not buying the validity of this message - "people will always remember how you made them feel." people usually make stuff up on the fly when asked "how did you feel?". feelings cannot be accurately reproduced, they are a purely physiological reaction in the moment. the type of response to the same message usually changes over time as well.
