You don’t see rich people in USD having a lot of influence?
I’m not talking about selling, I’m simply talking about influence. You’re still rich in USD terms even if you don’t sell. Also, even if you’d sell, doesn’t mean you need to sell all of it.
The only reason people look to MSTR is because the price went up. That matters. They don’t need to sell for this effect.
Rich people do have influence, I am not saying they dont.
I think the power structure will be changing soon.

So bitcoin price in USD terms matters or not?
reply
It only matters if you sell your bitcoin for USD.
If you are still holding it in bitcoin, its bitcoin.

Rich people also don’t hold cash, they also have their net worth in assets. I see no difference.

Maybe @Satosora means that rich people will also sell bitcoin and make USD too, because the direction of bitcoin is of course towards the dollar too.

These are the three things I thought we agreed on:
A) Bitcoin is an asset that goes up.
B) Rich people hold assets that go up.
C) Rich people have influence.
=> bitcoiners have more influence if price goes up even without selling
But for some reason, you think bitcoiners are special and need to sell to have influence like rich people.
I can’t explain my point better than that.
