Did you ever buy or plan of buying a Lego Set for your kid or maybe for yourself? If you've bought, what's the cost if it?
when i was a kid, i would get one of the larger lego sets for xmas each year , the pirate gallion and black castle sets from 80s / early 90s were awesome. still have them in the loft

I thought it would be lego sets, but limited editions are always hard to beat. I wonder how many of these figures actually got played with? I still have my legos from when I was a kid, so I will complete those sets and try to build them with my kids.

Yes.. many lately.. My eldest is super into it and I can’t resist. Since i like to stack sats, i try not to spend much. So i often go for second hand sets. We are not collectors because we open and play with them, so, new sets are like 1 or 2 a year tops.. the rest is second hand. We have more than 100 figures now.. its getting out of hand..

I've bought some second hand duplo Lego. Even 2nd hand is expensive and I'm really starting to think about how much Lego is going to cost us... The thing is that it's kind of necessary. It's such a great tool for learning and nothing compares. I guess that's why its so expensive.

I'm a bit surprised. What do kids learn from a $15k spiderman?

Oh
Those must be collectibles probably still in their original packaging in mint condition. No one would pay that much for Lego.
