What if it was Fabs' Fabrics? Is that apostrophe less distracting?

Yes to me.
Because that ‘s’ is attached to fab and is no longer hanging in no man’s land

reply

Keeping the apostrophe might help balance out the character count of the two words, which might make logo design easier.

reply

You're pointing at the original, right?

reply

No, I'm thinking Fabs' Fabrics. That still indicates it's made by you.

reply

Ah, I'm no hero in anything grammatics, so there's that.

I can live with it either way, though.

reply

Yes, afaik it still means you because it can mean that your nickname is "Fabs" which ends with "s". You don't put another "s" after an "s" to signal ownership, you just put the apostrophe.

reply

Yes, perfectly explained!

reply

oh, right, you are an English teacher haha

I agree 💯 with you.
The devil is in the details, huh

reply

But isn't "Fab's" indicating that it's made by me, c'est magnifique Fabs?!

reply

You are fabulous!

reply

Aren't we all a bit Fabs every now and then?.. ❤️‍🔥
