DNMs did more for the safety of drug users than the state ever did:
  • No more trades in dark alleys with fear of getting robbed or worse
  • No direct confrontation with other, potentially more harmful drugs (unless the user is interested by himself)
  • Reputation systems help to weed out bad dealers
