The weight loss drug Mounjaro has been linked to the death of a 58 year-old NHS nurse after she suffered multiple organ failure – the first U.K. fatality attributed to the jab.
The drug, also known as tirzepatide, is the same type of medication as Ozempic and Wegovy and is licensed for use as a weight loss tool in the U.K. It has earned the nickname “King Kong jab” because it has previously been shown to be the most powerful of the weight loss treatments.
