Why not vote for more soft on crime? They did it the first time!!!
This was only a repudiation of something they chose in the first place!
They are not foreseeing the consequences of their actions.

This would have passed probably 4 years ago. But Californians are fed up with crime and are not going to vote for anything that seems soft on crime.
Just an observation, not an endorsement
