Predominantly rural states like West Virginia ($167K), Mississippi ($184K), and Arkansas ($191K) have significantly lower median home prices than urbanized states like California ($776K) or New York ($476K).

Everyone should sell out of california and move to a state that has water.
I came to know that California has higher property taxes which is big reason for higher housing prices.
Their wages are a lot higher, too. That is how they are able to afford the housing value. Not that it hasnt seen a rise.
The hollywood has a significant role in it too. Now when Trump has promised to cut the taxes, let's see if Wages are cut as well.
Im pretty sure the wages will stay the same.
