This only happens in democracy. It's one the drawbacks of so called best government system.

I'm happy for you guys that police is doing their duty well. In India election times are much worse than this. However it's much improved over the past 15 20 Years. The elections have been rather peaceful. I hope people will act with in their wits and remain calm after the elections.
