This made me laugh, I too have fallen into these fantasies, but you have to be realistic so as not to end up disappointed and disillusioned. You have to set a goal and always have a plan.

I'm just going to keep grinding, I'll get what I can get over the next 20 years. I should be able to make sure my wife and I get to enjoy retirement.

My husband and I are also planning on this. We don't want to depend on our children, much less on a state pension. Every day I see many elderly people struggling for money, begging on the streets, and I am terrified of reaching that situation.
