Just wondering, seeing quite a few stackers seem to be against any form of government. Please only answer the poll if you are from the US. You can elaborate in the comments as to the reason you will vote or not, but I kept the choice simple to get the simplest poll outcome possible.

There is one problem. I'd I don't vote here, I can't see the result of this poll.
reply
I'll post the final result at the end.
reply
This might be something to be consider: add a see results option without voting requirement.
reply
But that can skew a poll
reply
Yes that's what we should have on wvery poll. This will make them more interesting and easier to navigate if we can even have a different poll tab.

NOTA
reply
Do you also have NOTA there?
I voted with it here in at least previous 5 elections here. Didn't win but it was satisfactory.
reply
No. I wish we did. NOTA is a tradition in all US Libertarian Party nominating votes.
reply
NOTA. Didn't know that's a thing in the US.
TiL: North Korea also has a NOTA option ;)
reply
To track dissidents
reply
There should be a no voting campaign in USA.

I voted. Why? Who can say. Unless the outcome is decided by one vote, it wouldn't have mattered whether I voted or not. Game theory suggests I'm just playing a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium, but the problem with that theory is that I always vote; I don't randomize my decision like the Nash equilibrium strategy says I should.
Perhaps it's a social thing. I vote so I don't have to give an embarrassing look when people ask me if I voted. Also, so that if someone asks me how they should vote on a particular issue, I retain credibility with them when I tell them what I think. In that way, perhaps by voting I am actually influencing more than just one vote.
Voting is also especially pragmatic in California, where many laws are determined by popular referendum. If you don't want the government breathing down your neck any more than it already is, you need to vote against their crazy policies.

I voted against Gascon. I voted for prop 36. I voted for prop 34.
reply
I vote for things that matter to me.
It’s quite sad some bitcoiners think they can change the world by: larping and not voting.
reply
Bitcoin bubble
reply
I will not vote because I don’t give my CONSENT to the overlords. They will screw this up like everything else. When you vote, you give your consent for what they do, whomever wins. I DON’T CONSENT!!!!!!
reply
This poll's legit only when I don't vote here. Haha ;)
reply
The irony of asking people to vote whether they will be voting is not lost on me~~
reply
It's more of a irony here because stackers haven't endorsed either of the candidates this time. I wonder if ever there will be times when we can unanimously say that 'This is a Bitcoin Candidate and our full support lies with him forever.'
reply
Forever is a dangerous thing. I will never vote for someone who's term is not capped in time.
reply
Yupp, you're right. I didn't mean not to cap his term but forever means to support him for the win.
reply
No, not eligible.
But if I lived in a select few states I definitely would https://www.lewrockwell.com/2024/10/no_author/who-will-i-vote-for-in-2024/

I just read it. Interesting read.
Tangential to thidls thread, but could you elaborate on this?
Third, the culture war is more important than most people realize: demographic declines, cultural values, taking a stance for reality, etc.
I am under the impression that the culture war is really something to keep commoners from focusing on what actually matters: rebel against the industrial military complex, which, as you say somewhere else, is something both the left and right actively represent.
So, then with that in mind, what is important about the culture war? Wokeness and anti wokeness are equally stupid to me.
I'm not from the US, so take this comment fully as an uninformed outsider's perspective.

I mailed my ballot last Monday. It was received by the county register on Friday
