Yes - for display only. The rewards calculation at the end of the day doesn't use the `UNION`.

These numbers are recomputed hourly which we `UNION` with anything that's happened in the current hour, so that could explain the discrepancy. The `UNION` numbers are only used for display. 

These used to be accurate though afaik, so something might be affecting our `UNION` time intervals. I'll look into it today if I manage to get through enough PR review to get the fellas unblocked.
