The Charities Aid Foundation, based on a Gallup 2023 survey of more than 145,000 respondents from 142 countries, examined the percentage of people who donated money to charity in the past month.

The highest numbers of monetary donations were recorded in Indonesia – 90%, Myanmar – 78% and Malta – 74%.

The lowest figures were recorded in Georgia, Botswana – 6%, in Tunisia and Yemen –7%.
