I'm not sure what that site is doing

I get the rate of change from the last two days reported from the treasury api. The last day just reported is less than the previous day which is why it's currently going down

it's going up again, and passed 31 trillion!

Your number is falling but on usdebtclock their number is rising. Why the discrepancy?
