Ultimately, I think God is revealed to us like a feeling, an inner knowing, and this is a very personal and unique journey for each person.

I definitely agree that faith is a step beyond reason. And it reminds me of a quote from Dostoevsky, who can put into words finding faith better than I ever will:

“Faith does not, in the realist, spring from the miracle but the miracle from faith. If the realist once believes, then he is bound by his very realism to admit the miraculous also.”
