It is crazy to think that River has been with our family for 10 days now! Since she has gotten settled her personality is shining sooooo brightly!!! She has so many funny quirks that everyone is getting used to like how she puts herself to bed, she burps pretty loudly, and if you have an unkept beard she isn’t so sure of you (it took my brother a few hours and many treats to fully win her over)!

When she goes on a walk she is on a mission! Other dogs and people will come up to her and she just ignores them and keeps going! She LOVES watching cats as well! When my brother visited his cats were kept in a different part of the house and there is a glass door separating it all. She would just lay down outside the door and watch the kitties play and if they went out of view she would whine for them to come back!

With my parents cat we were slow to introduce them but after a couple of days Bella has come to accept River and has given her the sniff and meow of approval! They will cuddle up with my mom on the couch and fight over who gets my mom’s attention! She also seems to like watching the TV show Bones (my favorite show) and will cuddle with me at night till we fall asleep watching it!

River also much like myself HATES to have her photo taken and so unless you catch her lacking the picture isn’t going to turn out to good 😂 She is so well behaved I cannot believe her family gave her away she is just the sweetest girl. She listens and comes when called she just wants to be moved! Thankfully that is something my parents are more than willing to provide her with!
