What is the difference between spam onigiri and spam musubi?

Because over here in L.A., people would call that a Spam Musubi

I think the correct term is spam musubi since it’s rectangular in shape.

Onigiri (triangle) vs. Musubi (rectangle)

I erroneously called it an onigiri because I thought Stackers wouldn’t be familiar with musubi. My bad!

Hohohoho …. I just had 2 umeboshi onigiri for dinner, today. Haven’t had a musubi in a while, though. It seems that the triangular form is easier to make with hands.
