It's been a month, so it's time to be honest with myself about where my 47 posts succeeded and failed with you cowboys.
I have not gotten better or worse over time. Some hit, most don't.
I use median instead of average to remove outliers.
Success in ~alter_native. @DesertDave zaps hard.
Success in ~BooksAndArticles. @siggy47 zaps hard.
idk why you all love ~Dogs_And_Cats but you do.
~podcasts rewards you releasing your own podcasts.
@grayruby zaps comments like crazy, but posting in ~Stacker_Sports is just for the joy of it.
Speaking of joy, I wanted to check in with my feelings. My posts take (high/med/low) effort to write. Likewise, my greed over how many sats I anticipate getting zapped ranges (high/med/low). I know I said SN is about stacking friends and not stacking sats, but I do expect a thunderstorm of zaps if I put a lot of effort into a post, so I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. And lastly, because I guess it doesnt count for nothing, is my personal joy just in making a post regardless of zaps (high/med/low)
The sweet spot is clearly ALL OR NOTHING! If I write a post with HIGH EFFORT expecting HIGH GREED and I had HIGH JOY writing it I get the most sats.

Also, my instincts are not off on greed expectations, but not worth low joy.

In a sense, parents corner is the "bang for buck" (medium effort to recount story, but high joy)

Low effort posts never do well. Only do if bring joy :)

So expect next month:
Less posts, but higher quality
Parent's Corner if inspiration strikes
Podcasts if inspiration strikes
Sports posts if inspiration strikes
No more [AITA] but I enjoyed trying :)
