GM Stackers!

October 31st is this week and I want to watch some movies with my daughter.

What children's Halloween movies do you recommend?

The Witches (1990)

reply

I watched this a lot as a kid. Great option.

reply

Me too šŸ˜‚

reply

hahah I'm reading the comments and I realize that there is nothing about Halloween movies

reply

It's true šŸ˜‚ ... my fault

reply

These are movies I like during Halloween. Guess that's different than Halloween movies. Is Halloween a Halloween movie?

reply

They are children's horror films, but they have no association with Halloween. You are right

reply

These aren't Halloween movies?

reply

This one? I guess the remake with Anne Hathaway isn't cool.

reply

It's the same one, only its original version is from 1990 with Anjelica Houston. Maybe it's not that good, it's just an affectionate childhood memory šŸ˜‚

reply

Hocus Pocus.

reply

I have never actually seen it but tried a couple nights ago but fell asleep.

I will have to try again.

Halloween was not really a thing at my house as a kid.

reply

Yesssss a Disney classic, I saw it a long time ago, I had forgotten about it. Thanks! I heard they released a second movie, is it good too?

ET. They have Halloween in it. And it's scary in ways. And one of my all time favorites.

Beetlejuice

Edward scissor hands

reply

I've never actually seen Edward Scissor Hands.

Adding it to my list.

reply

It's hard to get a kid-friendly one sometimes, my daughter and I love Hotel Transylvania and its unique story.

reply

My oldest son loves Casper!! 😊 It's old but it's a classic!!! šŸ‘šŸ‘

reply

Oh my god, I completely forgot that movie existed. I loved it when I was a kid. Thanks for reminding me.

I think Coco might be the best one since it's more about honoring the dead of your family by remembering them.

Monsters Inc is another great one.
