Red zone.
Outside of my various fantasy players, I have almost zero investment in today's games.
National TE day is fantastic. Everyone having a good time.
I was really worried that I hadn't started Gibbs...

There are no moral victories, but I'm glad it wasn't a humiliating loss.
reply
They competed. I don’t know why they went for it on 4th and goal instead of kicking the FG.
reply
I think that was the right decision, they needed a touchdown, but they have to change their running attack. It's been the most frustrating thing about this season. I've never seen so many stuffed runs before. Bowers was awesome early in the game and they didn't even look his way when it mattered.

Minshew did a nice job on the blitz pick ups and getting the ball out on that last drive. Much better than Purdy last week.
reply
That was Minshew's best game. I don't know if the stats back that up, but the eye test does. He had two complete bonehead plays: the unforced fumble and sliding short of the 1st marker when no one was close to him.
Yeeeaaaahhh that 60+yard TD run was less than conducive to the outcome I'm looking for out of our matchup...

@grayruby, can the 49ers hold Lamb to under 26 points?

I didn’t anticipate we would go up by 17 and then late in the game just let Lamb stand in the endzone completely uncovered not once but two drives in a row.
A win is a win but still a lot to clean up for 49ers.
reply
It was an impressive double bird from the 49ers. Serves me right for picking against them.
reply
Dak helped us out alot.
2 INTs and even though he looked great on those two drives late when there was a chance to win the game he threw the ball right at 49ers defenders twice, which they dropped of course.
Ooooffff that was a close game.
reply
I guess they were taking the approach of letting Lamb get his and making someone else beat them.
reply
Too close. Let them get back in it late. A bad habit for the 49ers this season.
reply
But also you guys are beyond beat up. Next man up mentality sure... But aiyuk out Deebo out Jennings out, CMC out. It's not like you're fielding a healthy team.
reply
That’s true but letting them back in the game had a lot to do with mental errors and miscommunications on the defensive side.
reply
I saw you dropped LaPorta. I almost picked him up but I figured Kittle and Kelce was enough TE action for me.
reply
LaPorta has been under used this year so far. Lions offense got a lot of mouths to feed and he's just not been getting looks.
reply
Wow 35 points at halftime for Lions. Titans suck but that's a lot.
