First design is my choice, to be 100% honest.
But not sure this would work well at smallest scale/monochrome.
Think if the icon was 50 - 75% smaller. The detail'd be lost, which is a shame, because there's intresting interplay between the shape of the graphic and typography.
In saying that, I love how it's working. All.

The bottom with the heartbeat graph looks nice and clearly shows that the message is connected to the pulse of Bitcoin.
It's also cliche but that's not what communication commercially is about. If this was our is for commercial purposes it is simple, clear and effective.
The top two are blurry and unclear and will be an issue with scaling.
The bottom two are very nice. I prefer the white over the dark blue. Thinking in squares or circles is good also for landscape or vertical applications. Meaning that different platforms use squares or circles and you might want to go in an easy symmetrical square for the intent on circle or square application.

Thanks for your feedback. Indeed are just two logos with two variations each, true is that on white background the red is more legible.
What do you mean by "Thinking in squares or circles..."?

Social media and avatars of business like here on Stacker use a circle or square to give the retail space.

Oh ok, now make more sense. Another version for this case probably needed.
