Jokes about harming children are not funny.
Halloween is stupid, also.
I think jokes about children, even a subtle one like this are part of the popular culture that's been very active since the late 1980s and 1990s where children are seen as undesirable.
As a writer I can say that I've explored this humor and even it's carelessness but I've realized in my spiritual studies that it's part of an element that desires the harming of children and it's what justifies pedophiles, and dark occultists who in the United States specifically are the largest consumers of child porn, sexual slavery and worse.
Of course humor is truth telling. So is spelling, chanting, singing and using our speech capabilities to manufacturer our life space.
This is just a little enlightened analysis and not meant to disparage the feelings of someone who humorously would think about shooting a person in disguise who was probably a child carrying candy.
Again, Halloween is stupid also but we don't live in a world where harming is difficult because harming is easy. We live in a world where the opportunity to be kind, caring and mature is a blessing to others.
