BTCMaps is badly outdated for Korea. This one is maintained by an active Korean Bitcoiner, using Naver Maps, one of the Korean competitors to Google Maps.

Naver is Korean, yes. Line is Japanese, I think.

Kakao is the biggest chat app in Korea, used by young and old. Maybe kinda like Whatsapp in Western countries?

Do people use whatsapp in america?
I think they just text message.
In america, data isnt always free.
In asian countries, data is usually unlimited or very high as part of the plan.
