I cleaned some of my attic. I had the roof of my home done earlier this year and while the Spanish guys where very fast, they also left a huge pile of debris in my attic. I told the gringo boss and he said just pay someone to clean it up and I got $100 from him off my bill.

So be it.

I'm paying myself now to clean up my attic.

IF you have work done like a roof repair. Make sure to put plastic down or drop cloths so that the mess will be easy to clean up... or going into the deal make sure the company cleans up or is careful in the demolition process. I've been a commercial carpenter for many years in between other gigs I was always careful not to leave a mess. But I also don't do roofs.
