That's...amazing.

I hear you, man. I appreciate your angle.
I will get some "Pay To Post" banners made.
How do you feel about the whole "v4v" mantra? Do you like "Pay To Post" better?
What about "If you only knew the power of pay to post"
"Pay to post or face the wrath of the empire"
"I find your lack of pay to post disturbing"
"Pay to Post, you rebel scum"
"The empire will compensate you if your post is worthy"
"I want to know what happened to the sats you paid to post"
reply
hahahaha nice collection!
"Pay to Post, you shitcoin scum"
I like this one, for shitcoiners.
"I find your lack of posts disturbing"
V4V also works.

Paid services are better services.
There is no such thing as "free". "free" does not exist. Someone somewhere somehow is paying for everything we use it's just how it is.
There is no free.
And the fact that SN is pay-to-post is why it's better than 98% of the places on the internet (better than the "free" places at least... that actually sell ads to operate)
And it's why imo Nostr will not make it without pay-to-post as well
reply
I agree. Pay to post is what makes SN so amazing.
"Turn off Freebies" and "Filter by Sats" should probably become more prominent methods of us controlling what we all see in our own feeds.

In my opinion if a post, to share with the world isn't worth 100 sats (about 7 cents) then it probably wasn't worth sharing to begin with.
On the other hand there's NOSTR where "everything is free" and "post as much as you want" and it's...
Full of low-effort, sub-7 cent posts everywhere.
Generally speaking you get what you pay for.
SN in it's current form > Nostr
reply
Agreed. You gotta pay to play (p2p)
