I thought the 10% rebuys were interesting and it seemed to work pretty well for juicing the pot. When I do my NBA In-Season Tournament Survivor Pool, I'm thinking it will be free-entry with a 3k buy back.

I think survivor pools are great for tournaments. It's a nice way to focus attention on a particular event.

No, I'm saying that I'm going to start my pool with free-entry.

Basketball might not have as much interest as cricket and you do a better job than I do of stirring up participants.

If you think a lot of people will pay 1k or 5k to join, then start with that.

Thanks. I get your point.

I also like free entry but without a buy in the pool reward doesn't reach a substantial amount. That's why I want to add a buy in. A buy in also triggers more rebuys as I saw in the NFL survivor pool.
