This post was inspired by a YouTube video I watched yesterday. It showed two cowboy sidekicks, both packing heat but without their steeds. When the enemy Indians showed up, they took out the two sidekicks because they couldn't make a getaway on horseback. I think we can all agree that none of us here on Stacker News want to see the same thing happen to @k00b and @ek, so I figured I'd start this little fundraiser.
The idea is that anyone with an attached sending wallet can chip in to buy the horse and all the gear. First, k00b and ek need to hop on here and say, 'I want a horse.' Then, the rest of us with attached wallets can zap those comments. For those who don't have an attached wallet, you can zap my comment, 'DONATION' and I'll forward it to them. Just add a comment with the donation amount!
If you're down to help but they haven't said they want a horse yet, leave a comment and I'll let you know when they do. You could say something like:
- I'm in on buying the horse;
- I'll grab the saddle;
- I'll get the stirrups;
- I'll pick up some western spurs;
- etc.
