"Study quantum physics." Why the heck should I? Sounds like a load of hard work.
That’s what most people think when they see the phrase "Study Bitcoin." (even if it's projected in giant letters onto the walls of a bank building)
Imagine someone telling you to 'study corporate risk policy' or to 'study the formation of Saturn’s rings'. It’s homework.
It would take you hundreds of hours to become an expert. And you still don’t know WHY you should do it. 🤷
Many of the bitcoiners I know say things like ‘if only they knew’ or ‘if only they could see the logic’.
They’re frustrated because most people in the world simply don’t care.
According to Woocharts, world Bitcoin adoption stands at around 6%, the same as 1999 for Internet Adoption.
If you’ve got a bitcoin business or product that you want to sell now, don’t ask the 94% of non-believers to 'study bitcoin'. Make them care. 🧡
Think like 21st century copywriters, not 1950s school masters.
  • Search for triggers.
  • Uncover your audience’s real fears, problem.
  • Paint a picture of their wildest dreams, and show them the path to get there.
Tell stories of people in their situation.
Make your message resonate. Don’t just set them a bunch of boring homework!

Who or what inspired you to learn more about #bitcoin?
I think most would benefit from studying the practical use of it, and then buidl whatever they want! :-)

Sure, but my point is that as adults we only study things to solve a problem or get a tangible benefit.
Without knowing about the problems of the fiat economy, people are unlikely to study the practical or theoretical use of btc.
