I have a question. If we dont have our stacker news lightning addresses, how will we be able to send messages to each other?

I think you will still be able to send messages. I just tested sending a message to myself. I got message in SN notification and then the sats where automatically withdrawn.

It works now because we have a stacker news address, right? Or can it work with different addresses? How do we figure those out?

Your SN lightning address will continue to receive payments and show messages in your notifications, only the sats will get converted into cc if you have no receive wallet attached
