I looked at the table and do you call the finals as 'Super Bowl'?
Before Super Bowl, we also have conference and divisional championships. I thought they are the knockout stages in NFL but this championship series knocking out a team is out of my understanding.

Yes in football the final is called the Super Bowl but the Mets play baseball. They were eliminated in the National League Championship Series, which is the semi-final.
Football also has championship series as the semifinal. There are two conferences- the American football conference (afc) and the national football conference (nfc). The winners of each conference play against each other in the Super Bowl.

What to say now!! I'm super dumb! I always get confused between both MLB and NFL for teams. The names are very similar kinda and Both don't have no existence here so please pardon me for the silly questions.
