Beautiful dog and a heartwarming story. We just rescued a dog two months ago. She has been wonderful, though it's a lot of work since she spent her first year of life outdoors. Enjoy your time home with the family, including the new member.

Yeah so River is used to go on 4 mile walks so both she and my parents will need to adjust! Luckily I’m here till the 29th so I’m walking her now and only going 1.5-1.75 miles each time so she gets close to her 4 miles but broken up!
