Trump for Shitcoins

A Trump victory almost certainly ensures only one outcome for our industry, and that is that the SEC gets defanged, and that means “coins beyond Bitcoin” will get a “level playing field.”

Kamala against Shitcoins!!

By contrast, continued enforcement of the SEC’s securities laws on the industry will rightfully make clear the difference between Bitcoin, which was distributed via proof-of-work (the only known way to circumvent securities sales), and all of the many centralized variants.
The idea is that Harris will make SEC stronger and it'll crackdown on shitcoins and if not support Bitcoin directly but will not let the shitcoins prevail at least.
If you’re a single issue Bitcoin voter, shouldn’t that mean voting for an option that makes Bitcoin more decentralized, and less reliant on U.S. government policy?

He makes some good counter arguments, but I think either way like the saying goes it will be good for Bitcoin.
Trump wins, alts pump, people get rekt again, learn about Bitcoin.
Kamala wins, alts targeted, move their capital to Bitcoin.

I and you are on the same page.
The 'take' section on BM is getting a little traction.

If you like Crypto, then this is the most important election ever for you. One candidate is releasing his own shitcoin, while the other wants to pursue regulation. But if you're only focused on Bitcoin as a long-term decentralized parallel financial system, I feel this election is largely inconsequential.
Like it or not, Wall Street is on our side now. Where we see freedom and an escape from debasement, they see sweet, sweet fees (and apperently, an escape from debasement). With Wall Street and bankers pushing for greater Bitcoin adoption, I find it hard to believe politicians will do much to push back in the coming years.
I detail more of my thoughts on the election at https://bitcoinbarks.com/Barks/Im-Voting-for-the-Money-Printer/#wbb1

I personally think that being such a strong asset, I don't think there will be any effect on its volatility other than those you mentioned. Regardless of who wins the presidency, Bitcoin will continue to be a strong asset and a safe haven for all of us worldwide.
