What’s the Most Important Personal Freedom You’ve Gained from Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is often praised for the financial freedom it offers, but many Bitcoiners I’ve met, both in real life and on Stacker News, have developed certain philosophies and traits that are intriguing and similar. I’m not sure if Bitcoin attracts a certain type of person or if Bitcoin helps shape a person’s character.
Has Bitcoin helped you take control over another aspect of your life beyond just finances, such as privacy, personal security, or something else?

Bitcoin was the only thing that helped me to step out of the system, totally. In the past I've tried all kind of tricks but NONE worked 100%. Why? Because you are always going back to fiat and their banks. That is the weakest point where govs can catch and hold you.
But once you do not depend of fiat anymore, you are free to do whatever you want, they can't touch you anymore.

To quit filing taxes, no doubt!
(Lots of caveats and a highly individual situation, never do this if you belong to the IRS!)
