Last year I posted that I'd created some Bitcoin applets for the Tidbyt: #285478.

I went to Bitcoin Amsterdam and printed a case so I can wear this around my neck. I also showed Adam Back this thing and I think I went a bit crazy...

It's now 1 year later and I want to give an update of the many other new Bitcoin applets I made:

In the post of last year @davidw requested for a zap applet. It's not fully ready yet, but see here a preview:

Furthermore, I developed a local weather called Buienradar: https://github.com/tidbyt/community/pull/2350, alert applet for extreme weather (KNMI Alert), news applets like Nu.nl and NOS, and Noderunners radio ticker.

Future:
I am in the process of making my own version of this device but slightly different than the original and it will be open source (hardware and software!). Probably next year I will release this.
