I don't think so, no. I think its decrementing timelock mechanism would make it cheaper than Ark if your peers were reliably online, but I am not enthusiastic about that assumption. I think it mostly wouldn't work due to someone being offline.

If someone isn't online, isn't that the reason for the timeout trees, for the timechain to resolve that.

putting your transaction on the timechain instead of doing it on superscalar defeats the point
it means superscalar didn't save you any time or money for that transaction

What's up with this Liquidity Rebait System. That's what I thought might be the ARK killer, cos now there's no need to FUD lightning cos you need a channel.
Also wanted to ask, once satohis are received from the sender, can it get spent, even before it reaches the channel capacity limit, which then opens a channel for you?
