What Is This?

This is a recurring post inspired by discussions had by @Undisciplined, @elvismercury and others regarding evergreen content on SN. I’ll dig back into the past to try to locate some great posts that might be worth another read. I plan to release a new Golden Oldies every Tuesday.

@bitcoinplebdev was a guest host on Stacker News Live this week, so I thought this was as good a time as any to highlight this post promoting the plebdevs backend course. This is a way for SN plebs to kickstart a career in LN development. I even toyed with the idea of checking it out myself, before I came to my senses.

Some thoughts on the game theory that results from btc wealth by @elvismercury

This is a thought provoking post from a Stacker News legend. I remember reading this post for the first time and realizing how unprepared I was for the eventuality of hyperbitcoinization. Ignoring these issues seems unwise, and maybe dangerous.

@siggy47, you should take the course! I made it through (admittedly barely) and had never coded a day in my life before taking the front end course.

I'm an old guy with a poor memory. This stuff is for young brains. I really do absolutely love what you're doing. How has it been going? Is there demand? I have to believe there are so many stackers who would love this education. BTW, you could probably pull off a side gig as a podcast host😀

He definitely was -- I joined like two days before MM began, and I'm pretty sure Elvis was the first person whose posts were so good I subscribed to them.
