Only yesterday, I came to know that there's a smll town in Canada where they take bets for when, exact date and time, the river ice breaks. The prize money blew up my mind which was more than 100k dollars. Are Canadians so crazy for betting?
In places with extreme winters, people get really bored and really excited for winter to end. I've heard of that sort of thing, but I don't know if it's particular to just one town.

You can be right. But I just know one and that's Talkeetna in USA. One more thing I saw that Guns and Bullets are being sold in mall there, like anyone can buy them. Is that so?

I saw it in a video and the betting amount was only 3 dollars and so. The name of the town is Talkeetna, oh my ... Talkeetna is in USA!!
