Set to open in late 2026, the 98,000ft² facility will foster interdisciplinary creative thinking and learning within the university.

PSU College of the Arts dean Leroy Bynum Jr said: “The new light-filled classrooms, studios and galleries will provide inspiring places for students, faculty and the public to engage in art experiences, and allow our school to strengthen and expand programmes at the intersection of industry, sustainability, culture and creative practice.”

The capital project has been financially underpinned by $81.6m in public bonds sanctioned by the Oregon Legislature, supplemented by a targeted $8.7m from private philanthropy.
