Yeah as much as I wish given the current "weather" in space its much more likely to have been a mentor. The UFO issue is in Virginia though if you haven't seen about over our military bases...
Most folks in the comments seem convinced it was a meteor. We just went through the tail of one comet, Draconid is the name of the shower, and will be seeing Orionids soon.
