Bitwage.com is active from 2015.... but many US people said "meah, I prefer shitcoin dollars".

The biggest problem with BitWage that I've seen has been the fees.
I don't know the fee that Deel charges, but since the USD funds are arriving on Coinbase, I suspect the total fees between both Deel and Coinbase will be lower than what is charged using BitWage.

1% is fair enough.
I used them many years, until I got paid directly.
Bitwage is really good.
Important is that you got your BTC straight into your own wallet.

Is it really just 1%?
I remember they were double dipping. Maybe that was only for fiat other than USD though ... but it was a fee as well as a crappy exchange rate. Like how the remittance companies do it, where they force you to take something like a 3% loss on the exchange rate but not call it a fee.
